Here is an updated patch.
ia64, s390, s390x and alpha do not support sparse mem (in the kernel)
yet so I removed the references to those. I added a check so if sparse
mem support is later added for ia64, s390, s390x and alpha (and used),
crash will print an error message. I removed _MAX_PHYSADDR_BITS as it
is not used anymore in the kernel. Lastly I fixed PAE additions for
sparsemem.
Hi Dave,
For whatever reason, regardless of the mailer I use, when I save your
last file and then try to use it for patching, long lines are getting wrapped,
and patch complains about a malformed patch file. I don't know why
this happens, because the first patch was usable with no problem?
Anyway, I started fixing each wrap instance by hand, but would it be
possible for you to re-post with the patch file as a file attachment?
Thanks,
Dave
